- 24 hours after the last game, the final, you've lost only by 1-point, which is the feeling which prevails: disappointement for having missed the Gold or satisfaction for the accomplished duty?
Well, of course I’m a little bit disappointed because we’ve lost just by 1 single point. But it’s sport! We’ve had two hard games against Hungary and Czech Republic and I think we just didn’t have anymore that much energy we needed on the end of this game against Great Britain. Anyway, we’ve made our goal which was to get to division A! So I’m really happy for that.
- Next time Slovakia will play in Group A. Is that important for you?
It is because we have made a big step for Slovakian basketball. I think it’s almost 7 years ago when U20 Slovakian Team played for the last time in Groupe A. It makes me happy even more because I could be there and help to make this dream come true.
- How is your feeling about your tournament, speaking about you?
My personal feelings are good....I wasn’t with my team for all the preparation but I tried to help as much as was possible. This was my last year with junior national team and I’m glad I could be there for this success.
You've been elected in the Euro U20 "5". How do you feel with that personnal award?
I was pretty surprise and of course happy! It always makes you feel good when you know that people likes the way you do your job.
Did you have some doubts during this tournament?
To be honest, yes! Mainly because we have a really young team and there we didn't had much time to be together and work on some things before. But we've been such a good "team" and have shown one big heart. I think that's what made it happened :)
- What is THE thing you will keep in your mind after that Euro U20? First speaking about basketball and after speaking out of basketball.
First of all I learned is one thing : if you really want and believe, everything is possible! That’s about basketball and out of basketball... Like I said, it was my last year and I made a lot of friends thanks those all champs. I think I will miss them a lot. We always had a lot of fun when there was some free time.
- Who, in your mind, diserved to be MVP?
For me was MVP also Jelena ANTIK! She has impressed me last year a lot and I was expecting the same this year! I really like the way she plays and I think she can become one of the best players in Europe if she decide to play here. I just wish her the best for the future!
- And now?
Now I’m already back in Slovakia to join the senior national team. I will try to make it (NDR: Slovakia will play the qualifying round for Eurobasket 2011 in Poland) and if not, then I will start with my preparation for next season.
Good luck Klaudia! Last point: due to the draw in EuroCup, Klaudia's Ruzomberok will play in Villeneuve d'Ascq in Novembre, 17th, team of one of her friend Laurie DACTHY...
